I'm happy to see that you didn't imitate the Nintendo style too closely in this. I can have respect in the sense that this is clearly yours, and not an imitation of someone elses'. It is, perhaps, a little childish for my liking, but that's merely an opinion... I think that your work shows through here quite nicely regardless to what I think of the cartoony nature of the character. It definitely shows more effort than most will put into a pokemon picture.

I like the flame technique here, but I find it slightly confusing how it seems separated from the end of the tail. Also, in the past, I've found that getting the legs/feet at those angles to look right can be difficult (especially the one furthest from the camera). I have to at least give you some credit for making that as convincing as you have.
